Make an impact through high-quality, compassionate paediatric care within West Moreton Health! Paediatric Services consists of a 23 bed inpatient unit caring for children from 0-16 years, including medical, surgical, orthopaedic services and limited Mental Health services 24 hours/7 days per week.
The paediatric outpatient department is co-located within the unit and services operate on a Monday – Friday schedule.

What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrates the ability to apply specialised knowledge of contemporary paediatric practice and theory throughout paediatric care and to participate directly and indirectly in the delivery of clinical care.
- Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard in the Women, Children and Family division.
- Demonstrates expert level of contemporary clinical paediatric knowledge, expertise and skills in paediatric practice and leadership enabling the delivery and supporting high quality care provision.
- Demonstrated management experience and capability with an ability and commitment to practice collaboratively within the paediatric service and the broader multidisciplinary health care team to deliver high quality care.
- Demonstrated advanced and effective communication, relationship development and maintenance and change management skills.
- Demonstrated contemporary paediatric clinical expertise to the level and duration specified in the Mandatory Qualification section.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective paediatric health professional with capability for high level engagement across the spectrum of stakeholders including patients and families.
- Demonstrated legislation / policy knowledge and the ability to develop documents supporting the application of same.
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.
