An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Infrastructure Specialist to join the New Bundaberg Hospital Project team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Queensland's most significant healthcare infrastructure projects and play a key role in the planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of the digital infrastructure that will support the delivery of contemporary healthcare services for decades to come. Working closely with project teams, clinicians, technical experts, and key stakeholders, you will provide specialist advice and leadership to ensure digital systems and infrastructure are effectively integrated into the new hospital environment.

Your opportunity:

  • The Digital Infrastructure Specialist will provide expert knowledge, advice and guidance for the delivery of digital and physical infrastructure for the new Bundaberg Hospital and other associated capital projects within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS).
  • This role will act as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and ensure that infrastructure and digital architecture align with Queensland Health technical standards and will provide strategic oversight and coordination to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale, complex digital initiatives.
  • As the Digital Infrastructure Specialist you will work collaboratively with the broader project teams, HHS Digital teams, eHealth Queensland team and other key stakeholders.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 3 years with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $187,650 p.a., comprising salary between $155,432 - $164,467 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO8) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 3 years with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
