About the role
Provide specialist clinical services as a General Practitioner with Special Interest in Orthopaedics within the Procedural Services team at STARS, Metro North Health. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of orthopaedic conditions, working within a multidisciplinary environment to support effective assessment, management, and optimisation of patients requiring surgical or non-surgical intervention.
You will bring a holistic general practice perspective to orthopaedic care, supporting improved integration between primary, secondary, and tertiary services. The role involves contributing to patient assessment, surgical readiness, and clinical decision-making, while supporting service improvement, quality initiatives, and collaboration across the healthcare continuum.
