About the role
Provide advanced clinical governance leadership across the Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), supporting patient safety, quality improvement, and compliance with national standards. This role focuses on delivering specialist expertise in safety and quality systems, contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that ensure high standards of care across STARS, the Oral Health Alliance, and Virtual Emergency Care Service.
You will act as a key advisor and resource to clinical and non-clinical teams, guiding best practice in relation to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. The role involves working collaboratively across disciplines to strengthen clinical governance frameworks, lead quality improvement activities, and support a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
