About the role

Deliver electrical maintenance and technical services within the Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. This role is responsible for supporting the installation, commissioning, testing, and ongoing maintenance of electrical systems, plant, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable hospital operations.

You will work as part of a team of electrical tradespersons to provide timely and effective maintenance and repair services across a complex healthcare environment. The role involves supporting essential infrastructure including high and low voltage systems, emergency power, and specialised equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and service delivery expectations.

About you

  • Undertake maintenance, installation, and testing of electrical systems and equipment
  • Provide technical support and respond to equipment faults and service requests
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to efficient service delivery outcomes
