About the role
Provide advanced clinical expertise as a Clinical Nurse Consultant within the Queensland Fixated Threat Assessment Centre, supporting the delivery of specialised forensic mental health services. This role focuses on undertaking risk triage, mental health screening, and assessment in collaboration with Queensland Police Service and multidisciplinary mental health teams, to identify and manage individuals of concern within the community.
You will deliver high-level clinical leadership, coordination, and consultation for complex cases, contributing to the development of care plans, interagency collaboration, and information sharing across health, law enforcement, and judicial stakeholders. The role also involves supporting education, mentorship, and service improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice and service outcomes.
