The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Administration Officer (Home Care and Allied Health Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Operate the main switchboard, receive and relay messages
  • Check the generic administration email inbox daily and action correspondence
  • Undertake routine data entry, scanning, filing, and record maintenance
  • Sort and distribute mail, arrange post office lodgement, and replenish photocopier paper supplies

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Aged Care Check will be required for new employees

Salary

  • Permanent part time or temporary part time (one permanent part time position, 40hrs p.f position or one temporary part time position, up to three months, 40 hours per fortnight)
  • Base salary ranging from $32.18 - $37.53 per hour

The Home Care and Allied Health Service is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program to provide a range of flexible, entry level basic support services that assist eligible older clients and their carers to maintain independence in their own homes and within the community.
