About the role

The team is based at Herston Campus and there is an opportunity to access some flexibility within the working arrangements once the successful candidate is established in the team. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within health and clinical knowledge within guardianship and administration.”
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high level evidence based clinical services, in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and AASW Professional Practice Standards, as a member of the Metro North Health and QH QCAT Guardianship Program, with the aim of optimising service objectives for both Qld Health inpatients who require a decision by the Tribunal, and the frontline clinicians involved.
- Actively participate in professional, multi-agency and departmental meetings as required.
- Demonstrate high level written and oral communication skills, including the use of clinical handover principles, to consult and work effectively within the multidisciplinary team, as well as with a broad range of health professionals, teams, agencies, and other stakeholders both internal and external to the health system.
- Applies high-level knowledge and skills in advising other colleagues, management, and other stakeholders.
- Contributes to ongoing identification, development, and implementation of quality process improvements within the Program.
