Teacher - Accounting & Finance
Are you an Accounting and Finance industry expert who is passionate about sharing real-world knowledge and shaping the next generation of accounting and finance professionals? TAFE Queensland is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting and Finance professional to join our teaching team on a casual basis.
You will deliver engaging, industry-aligned training that equips students with practical skills and knowledge for careers in accounting, bookkeeping and financial services. Delivery will take place at our state-of-the-art Robina campus, as well as through flexible online work-from-home delivery, supporting a positive work-life balance.

- Deliver high-quality, outcomes-focused vocational education and training (VET) programs to a diverse range of students

About You
We are seeking a highly capable industry professional with a genuine desire to give back through education. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (FNS40222) or equivalent/higher qualification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent, or approved higher Adult Training and Assessment qualification
- Demonstrated current industry experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services in Australia
- Strong knowledge and proficiency of contemporary accounting systems and software
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training, assess student work and support competency development
- A strong commitment to driving student achievement and real-world outcomes in accounting and finance, with the ability to engage, support and motivate learners towards successful study and employment outcomes
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, students and industry stakeholders
