About the Role:

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive best-practice stakeholder and community engagement across some of Queensland's most significant development, housing and infrastructure projects.

As Engagement Manager, you will lead a high-performing team and provide strategic engagement advice that supports informed decision-making, strengthens stakeholder relationships and delivers positive outcomes for communities across Queensland.

In this role, you will:
• Lead the development and implementation of stakeholder and community engagement strategies across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Manage, mentor and develop a high-performing engagement team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders, project teams and partners on engagement approaches, risks and opportunities.
• Establish and drive consistent engagement frameworks, systems and governance across EDQ.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry partners, local governments and community stakeholders.
• Oversee consultation programs, ensuring community insights inform project outcomes and organisational decision-making.
• Represent EDQ in stakeholder forums, working groups and public-facing activities.

About You:
You are a strategic engagement professional with strong leadership capability and a proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in complex and fast-paced environments.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
• Experience developing and delivering stakeholder and community engagement strategies for complex projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and building capability to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to translate strategic priorities into practical engagement approaches.
• Experience working across multiple projects and navigating competing priorities.
• Highly developed communication skills, including the preparation of executive briefings, reports and strategic advice.
• Experience implementing engagement frameworks, systems and processes that drive consistency and best practice.
