About the role
As the Workplace Relations Advisor, you will collaborate with senior specialists to provide strategic advice to senior leaders, supporting the management of high-risk and complex industrial and workforce matters across Metro North Health. Your role will involve contributing to the effective resolution of complex cases, change management processes, appeals, disputes, and matters referred to external tribunals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Maintain data bases and registers that contain case records and act as point of contact for all correspondence into the Workplace Relations team.
- Prepare and coordinate periodic reports e.g., for the Metro North Health Board and Public Service Commission [CaPE] for review and progression by Senior Management.
- Support and assist in the preparation of documents and secretariat duties to be presented to the Metro North Consultative Forum and Respect@Work sexual harassment and racism matters.
- Assist in the provision of specialist advice and correspondence on Respect@Work and disciplinary cases, ill health retirement, conversions, change management and industrial matters.
