Your new role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will deliver expert occupational therapy services across community-based rehabilitation programs, supporting patients with complex needs to maximise independence and quality of life. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in clinical leadership, service improvement and mentoring the next generation of clinicians.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessment, intervention and care coordination for complex community caseloads.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to junior clinicians, Allied Health Assistants and students.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to achieve outstanding patient-centred outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys working collaboratively and thrives in a dynamic community healthcare environment. You are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the growth of others and continuously improving services.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex occupational therapy caseloads within rehabilitation or community services.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor and support developing clinicians and students.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and patient-centred care.
