About the role
This role will coordinate, manage and supervise the AO3 and AO2 administrative support services attached to Ear Nose and Throat, Audiology and Maxillofacial Clinics Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH). Provide advice and support to the Manager Administration Services, Clinical Nurse Consultants and the Directors on patient activity, human resource and financial issues relating to the management of the departments.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Co-ordinate, lead and manage administrative activities and resources of the Department to provide efficient and effective utilisation of administrative support services across multiple areas.
- Implement and monitor staff rotation to ensure multi-skilling, including direct supervision of day to day operational procedures as required.
- Identify staff resource requirements and initiate and manage the recruitment process of permanent and temporary administration officers ensuring staffing remains in budget.
- Manage the Performance Appraisal and Development (PAD) process for all administrative staff in the Departments.
- Identify training needs and coordinate the training/development of administrative staff through the Individual Development Plan process to enhance the achievement of the Department's business objectives, in conjunction with the Manager Administration Services or delegate.
