About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with teams across QLeave to analyse, document and report on data that supports day‑to‑day operations and decision‑making. You will help deliver clear and reliable information, contribute to improving reporting and data processes, and support the introduction of new systems and enhancements to existing processes.

This is an opportunity to build your skills in a modern data environment while working with experienced analysts and engineers to deliver practical, business‑focused outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collect, analyse and report performance and operational data to support business activities and decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data collection processes, reporting methods and analytical approaches to support business and data strategies.
  • Prepare and support the delivery of reports, briefings and submissions, including performance, benchmarking and monitoring information.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve data quality, systems and business processes, and support the implementation of improvements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of documentation, including reports, presentations, business cases and technical or functional requirements.

What We're Looking For

For this role, we will consider how well you:

  • Demonstrate experience in data analysis and reporting, including using tools such as Power BI and SQL to produce clear and meaningful outputs.
  • Apply analytical thinking to interpret data and identify opportunities to support business improvement and decision‑
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting processes, data collection methods and analytical approaches.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and build positive working relationships within a high performing team environment and with a range of stakeholders.
  • Show awareness of modern data and technology concepts, and the ability to learn and apply new tools and approaches in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Use business intelligence tools and techniques to produce performance reports, dashboards and ad‑hoc analysis.
  • Support improvements to data quality, collection and processing, contributing to reliable and well‑governed data.
  • Ensure data used for reporting and analysis is accurate, reliable and handled appropriately.

While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, the following will be highly regarded:

  • Practical experience in modern business intelligence development.
  • Experience or exposure to Microsoft data platforms (such as Fabric and Azure).
  • Qualifications in information technology, mathematics or a related field.
