About the role
Provide advanced clinical expertise as a Clinical Nurse Consultant within the Community Forensic Outreach Service (Therapy Service), supporting consumers receiving public mental health services who present with complex mental health needs and behaviours that may place themselves or others at risk. This role focuses on the delivery of formulation-driven therapy and evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions within a forensic mental health framework.
You will provide consultation, liaison, and specialist support to mental health services and stakeholders, contributing to assessment, treatment planning, risk management, and therapeutic intervention for complex consumers. The role also involves clinical leadership, workforce capability development, education, supervision, and participation in quality improvement and service development initiatives across forensic mental health services.
