About the role
In this graduate position, you will build foundational clinical capability while contributing to the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Working across RBWH and STARS, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of clinical presentations and imaging environments, supporting both routine and acute patient care. Under the guidance of experienced radiographers and radiologists, you will undertake imaging procedures, develop technical proficiency, and strengthen your clinical decision-making skills. As you progress through the graduate program, you will be supported to expand your scope of practice, increase independence, and confidently manage more complex examinations.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Maintain quality and safety standards through clinical practice and appropriate communication.
- Perform all approved examinations with compassion, respect and integrity.
- Deliver a routine general medical imaging service under regular supervision from HP4 Senior/HP5 Advanced Radiographers and/or Radiologists.
- Engage in education, training and professional development to progress to full scope and more complex examinations with supervision.
- Provides a patient focused imaging service that is professional and timely.
