About the role
Permanent opportunity to be a key member of Administration Services within the Clinical Directorate (Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Corrections Health), providing high level support and advice to Administration, Clinical Services and Executive staff of the Clinical Directorate.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Supervise and coordinate administration staff within various areas to meet the requirements of the individual work units and liaise with the work unit line managers in regard to any day to day issues in a timely manner.
- Manage staffing rosters for planned and adhoc leave, within budget and in collaboration with other administration areas and in line with contemporary human resource management practices and principles.
- Identify staff resource requirements and initiate and manage the recruitment process of permanent, temporary and casual administration officers for Caboolture-Kilcoy Hospitals, including Prison Health Services, ensuring staffing remains within budget allocations
- Utilise highly developed communication skills and tools to maintain a motivated and effective administrative support team.
