Who We Are:
Waterford West State School is a welcoming Queensland Government primary school for students from Prep to Year 6.
Located in the heart of Logan, the school provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential through quality teaching, strong community partnerships, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Where requested, prepare all data returns for senior management.
- Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
- Communicate and work with parents, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.
