About the role
As an Assessment Officer, you will play an important role in delivering regulatory services that support Queensland's building and construction industry. You will assess a variety of licensing and dispute-related matters, apply relevant legislation and policies, and communicate outcomes clearly and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and determining licensing and dispute applications.
- Interpreting legislation, policies, and supporting documentation to inform outcomes.
- Identifying potential non-compliance issues and escalating matters where required.
- Providing accurate information and guidance to customers and stakeholders.
- Maintaining detailed records and ensuring matters are managed efficiently.
- Supporting front counter operations when required.
- Contributing to service excellence through timely and consistent case management.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve branch objectives.
