We are excited to welcome an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Pharmacist Pre-registration to our Pharmacy Team through this identified position as part of the Allied Health First Nations New Graduate Pathway.

The Allied Health First Nations New Graduate Pathway ("the Pathway") provides a culturally safe, supportive and professionally rewarding transition to practice for First Nations allied health graduates. Following successful completion of the pre-registration year, the successful applicant will transition into the two-year Pathway as a Registered Pharmacist.
The Pharmacy Service is committed to ensuring patients receive the greatest possible benefit from their medicines while minimising the risk of harm. This is achieved through the delivery of safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care by a skilled, collaborative and compassionate pharmacy workforce.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Participate in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services, working within a learning environment.
- Dispense patients' prescriptions, ensuring effective and appropriate medications are provided for patients.
- Provide patient counselling on the appropriate use of medications.
- Provide a clinical pharmacy service focussing on National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
Remuneration value up to $98,818 p.a., comprising salary $ 86,609 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3 (1)) (Fixed Term Temporary full time, 76 hrs p.f. position available for 12 months). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
