Bundaberg and Hervey Bay Hospitals are seeking passionate and culturally skilled Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advanced Health Workers to join the Palliative Care Support Service team. This is a unique opportunity to provide holistic, culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families facing serious illness, while contributing to the broader healthcare team in an essential and impactful role. Your opportunity:
- To provide support and assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people accessing specialist palliative care services across the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service through the provision of high quality, culturally appropriate services focussed on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $58,894 p.a., comprising salary rates $39.00 - $52.06 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HWF3) (Two Permanent Part Time Positions, 38 hours p.f.)
