About us:
The Gladstone Integrated Service provides specialist, recovery-focused mental health, alcohol and other drug services to vulnerable people across Gladstone and surrounding communities. Delivering compassionate, person-centred care, the service offers comprehensive assessment, therapeutic treatment, case management, consultation and referral pathways to support individuals and families through their recovery journey.
Working in partnership with hospitals, primary health providers, community organisations and private sector services, the team is committed to improving wellbeing, reducing the impact of mental illness and substance use, and helping people achieve meaningful, long-term recovery across Central Queensland.
About the role:
- Provide intake-focused mental health assessment and intervention, including mental state examinations, risk assessments, triage and care planning to support timely, safe consumer care.
- Coordinate seamless care pathways for consumers by working across mental health services, public hospitals, primary health and community supports.
- Contribute as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, including participation in outreach services and extended hours to support community need.
- Use clinical data, indicators and documentation practices to support quality improvement, service development and evidence-based care.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
