About the role
This role delivers high-level physiotherapy clinical services as part of the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team within the Rehabilitation Service Stream in Community and Oral Health. The service stream spans inpatient and ambulatory services across Metro North, including the Brighton Rehabilitation Unit, Interim Care, Brighton Geriatric Evaluation and Management, Brighton Brain Injury Service, Community-Based Rehabilitation Teams (North Lakes, Chermside, Caboolture, Redcliffe), and Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Teams at Kallangur and Bribie Island Satellite Health Centres.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high level physiotherapy rehabilitation clinical services across a variety of caseloads in an ambulatory rehabilitation setting in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Exercises independent professional clinical judgement in providing Physiotherapyservices of a complex nature where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.
- Provides clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors and relevant service managers regarding service delivery, equipment, technology and the prioritisation and development of clinical services.
- Undertakes clinical governance activities within the service.
