About the Role:
Working within EDQ's Specialist Services team, you'll become the organisation's senior technical authority for water supply and sewerage, providing strategic advice that helps unlock housing, accelerate development and shape infrastructure outcomes across Queensland.

As the Lead Water Supply and Sewerage Engineer, you will:
• Lead strategic water supply and sewerage planning across Priority Development Areas (PDAs) and major development projects throughout Queensland.
• Provide expert technical advice on servicing strategies, infrastructure planning and complex development proposals to support timely and sustainable development outcomes.
• Review and critically assess consultant reports, hydraulic modelling and network planning advice, ensuring recommendations are technically robust and aligned with EDQ's strategic objectives.
• Negotiate infrastructure outcomes with councils, water utilities, developers and key stakeholders to facilitate coordinated and practical servicing solutions.
• Provide specialist engineering input into development assessment, infrastructure planning and major investment decisions across residential, commercial and mixeduse developments.
• Act as EDQ's technical lead for water supply and sewerage, driving continuous improvement, technical excellence and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Influence the delivery of critical infrastructure, including trunk networks, pump stations, reservoirs and treatment facilities that enable Queensland's future growth.
