The South East Region is seeking an experienced and innovative educational leader to join the team as Principal Advisor, Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
This is an exciting opportunity to influence and strengthen student learning, wellbeing and behaviour outcomes across one of Queensland's largest and most diverse regions.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with regional and school leaders to provide strategic advice, professional learning, coaching and implementation support to schools across all phases of Positive Behaviour for Learning implementation.

About the Roler:
We are seeking an individual with a deep understanding of PBL, and evidence-based frameworks that support safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments for all students.
The role requires someone who can think strategically, analyse and use data to inform decision making, and translate research into practical and sustainable school improvement practices.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated expertise in developing school capability in areas such as multi-tiered systems of support, data-based decision making, differentiated supports and evidence-based behaviour practices.
They will be skilled in building strong relationships and partnerships, influencing change, and supporting schools to implement PBL with fidelity and impact.
This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to regional priorities, shape strategic thinking and support schools to create positive and inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
We are particularly interested in applicants who are curious, innovative and solutions-focused, and who are passionate about translating evidence into practice to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes for students, staff and school communities.
Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating proven leadership of Positive Behaviour for Learning at the school level.
- Provide high level advice and support to regional and school leaders, and shape strategic thinking to promote and support establishment of multi-tiered systems of support for student learning, wellbeing and behaviour.
- Collaborate with regional and school teams to align and achieve outcomes of State Schools Strategic Plan.
- Support schools to meet the baseline standards for PBL annual verification.
