About the role
As the Education Administration Officer, you will provide high-level administrative, secretariat and operational support to the Medical Education Unit, working closely with the Directors of Clinical Training (DCTs) and Medical Education Officers (MEOs).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Monitor and advise the DCTs/MEOs of compliance of the prevocational medical officers in accordance with training requirements, the Queensland Prevocational Medical Accreditation standards and the Medical Board of Australia including the compilation of Work Performance Reports and Certificates of Completion for PGY1 (intern) and PGY2 doctors.
- Develop and maintain an adequate understanding of the National Framework for Prevocational (PGY1 and PGY2) Medical Training.
- Provide confidential administrative support to the MEU, as delegated by the Director of Clinical Training
- Manage administrative functions of the office of Directors of Clinical Training including the monitoring and distribution of correspondence, records management, and maintain current weekly / daily diaries in an efficient and professional manner.
