About the Role

Lead the development and delivery of Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service's internal audit, risk, and compliance function. Working closely with the Board, Audit and Risk Committee, Executive, and service leaders, you will strengthen governance frameworks, oversee risk and assurance activities, and drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and effective risk management.

You will coordinate internal and external audit programs, monitor compliance obligations, and ensure governance systems support informed decision-making and high-quality service delivery. Through strategic leadership and constructive partnership, you will help ensure safe, equitable, and culturally responsive healthcare for communities across the Torres Strait and Cape York region.
