The First Nations Cancer Wellness Service provides culturally safe, holistic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people affected by cancer, including patients, carers, and families. The service assists individuals to navigate their cancer journey by coordinating care, facilitating access to health services, supporting follow-up appointments, and promoting wellbeing throughout treatment and recovery. The focus is on empowering First Nations people to actively participate in their healthcare while strengthening connections with family, community, and culture.

About your opportunity:
In this role you will....
- Proficiency in effective administrative and secretarial functions and support including, but not limited to, data entry, minute taking, system/electronic file/record management, team calendar coordination, report printing, incoming/outgoing correspondence and mail management, finance and payroll activities, photocopying, telephone enquiries and reception to internal and external clients.
- Exercise autonomy, initiative, judgement and discretion in producing quality work and completing administrative and secretarial functions in an efficient and timely manner, by managing workloads appropriately; prioritising tasks and ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
- Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
- Maintain harmonious and collaborative work relationships within an interdisciplinary team and participate and contribute towards team goals.
