This position sits within the State-wide Authorities—Terrestrial Estate team in its administration of legislative authorities associated with third party access to DETSI terrestrial estate across all of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships’ (QPWS&P) regions, including the financial management of such authorities.

What you need for this role: 
• Role model Individual Contributor leadership behaviours as outlined in the bLeadership competencies for Queensland.
• Demonstrated project management experience and understanding of principles, practices and methodologies for ethical behaviour/decision-making and successful delivery of a program of work.
• Knowledge of legislative authorities associated with third party access to DES terrestrial estate across all of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships' (QPWS&P) regions.
• Interpersonal, problem solving and negotiation skills and the ability to successfully initiate and implement change and continuous improvement in the workplace.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with an ambition to drive results to achieve departmental objectives.
• Communication and reporting (including liaison, advice and preparation of written reports and submissions).
• Demonstrate how you can support our commitment to workplace safety, equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
