About the role:

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership for the Springsure Multipurpose Health Service, overseeing the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare.
  • Leads clinical governance, evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to strengthen patient safety and service excellence.
  • Manages multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the effective use of workforce, resources and service delivery across the facility.
  • Partners with the Senior Medical Officer to support sound clinical decision-making, governance and sustainable health services.
  • Fosters a positive workplace culture that values education, innovation, research and professional development.

About you:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a valid annual practising certificate.
  • Management qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them, will be highly regarded.
  • This position holds governance and operational authority under the Aged Care Act 2024 (Responsible Person) and the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld) (Key Personnel).
  • Fosters a collaborative workplace, adapting to change, strengthening team relationships and resolving challenges constructively.
  • Brings a strong understanding of contemporary aged care standards and a commitment to delivering person-centred care across the multipurpose health service.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $16,720 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $81.16 - $86.95 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
