Gladstone Hospital is evolving into a centre of excellence for emergency care, medical inpatient services and day surgery. About the role:
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and support effective day-to-day business operations.
- Build positive working relationships by communicating with staff, external agencies, community groups and private organisations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, flexibility and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, efficiency and operational effectiveness.
About you:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the tact, diplomacy and discretion to engage professionally with staff, consumers and the public.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and adapt to changing operational demands while working independently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, using initiative to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and resolve issues effectively.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality across all administrative tasks.
- Well-developed computer skills, with experience using a range of Microsoft Office applications, databases and other PC-based systems.
What we offer:
- An hourly rate between $49.97 - $55.57 p.h. (Including 25% casual loading)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
