Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse in Blue Gum Court, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that enhances the quality of life for residents with complex health needs. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide clinical leadership while supporting a safe, respectful and person-centred care environment.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care.
- Provide clinical leadership, delegate care appropriately and support Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing.
- Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and dementia-related behaviours using best-practice interventions.
- Contribute to quality improvement, education, evidence-based practice and continuous service excellence.
About you:
You're a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about improving outcomes for older people with complex care needs.
You will bring:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Experience in aged care, dementia care or caring for residents with complex health conditions.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and critical thinking skills with a commitment to person-centred care.
- A collaborative approach, clinical leadership capability and commitment to ongoing professional development.
