About the role  
You'll be responsible for coordinating building dispute cases through the mediation and conciliation process, ensuring all parties are supported and informed as matters progress toward resolution. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you'll assess case information, manage competing priorities, provide exceptional customer service and help drive continuous improvement within the team and across multiple areas of the QBCC. It's an opportunity to combine problem-solving, relationship management and attention to detail to deliver meaningful outcomes every day.

About you  
You're a naturally curious, solutions-focused professional who brings clarity and sound judgement to complex situations. With a strong understanding of regulatory environments and an interest in dispute resolution, you're confident applying mediation and conciliation principles to help people find a way forward. With strong communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to suit a range of stakeholders, you're confident building relationships, managing competing priorities and working through nuanced issues. You thrive in a collaborative environment, readily share knowledge and roll up your sleeves to support the team. Committed to continuous improvement, you look for opportunities to grow your skills, improve processes and contribute to better outcomes. Experience in dispute resolution will be highly regarded, as will a genuine passion for developing your mediation expertise and accreditation.
