Your opportunity:
- A Carer Peer Worker works under direction to facilitate the delivery of support services to carers and families of the mental health service.
- A Carer Peer Worker is employed to assist carers and families, service providers and Non-Government Organisations (NGO) to develop a better understanding of the recovery framework while utilising a lived experience of caring for someone with mental health issues to work towards achieving the best outcomes for consumers.
- This Carer Peer Worker position will provide support in the Subacute Older Persons Mental Health.
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to have a personal lived experience of mental illness and recovery and/or caring for someone with a lived experience of mental illness and recovery.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $50,292 p.a., comprising salary rates $39.98 - $44.46 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.).
