About the role
As the Nurse Educator, you will provide expert educational leadership to support the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care across Redcliffe Hospital. Working closely with nursing leaders, Clinical Nurse Clinical Facilitators, and multidisciplinary stakeholders, you will identify learning needs and deliver contemporary education solutions that enhance clinical competence and patient outcomes. You will contribute to both portfolio-specific and hospital-wide education initiatives, including orientation, preceptorship, competency assessment, transition support, and workforce development programs.
About you

- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Provide leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
- Integrate the principles of contemporary education into nursing practice.
- Integrate nursing and healthcare knowledge, skills and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Facilitate the delivery of cost-effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing staff.
