Teaching & Learning position is available at Ripley Valley State Secondary College.

This opportunity requires the successful candidate to have strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (V9), QCE and inclusive practices, whilst also demonstrating flexibility, independence, leadership, and effective communication skills.

The successful applicant would ideally commence duties from mid-term 3 until the end of Semester 1, 2027.

Who We Are:

Ripley Valley State Secondary College opened in 2020 and currently caters for approximately 1500 students in Years 7 to 12 in 2026.  

The College is in a rapid growth area and will accommodate more than 2000 students when at full capacity.

Leaders joining the College must have exceptional relational skills, be driven to build a positive, welcoming and supportive learning culture, demonstrate deep understanding of pedagogical practices in order to implement evidence-based practice, and be willing and able to commit to the college's development and growth.  

• The ideal applicants should have a strong working knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, QCE, assessment, moderation and evidence-based pedagogical practices.  
• The successful candidate must provide leadership and coaching for staff as it relates to curriculum, moderation and pedagogy.  
• You will be required to implement coaching programs to support staff at all levels and build whole staff capacity to implement effective pedagogical practices.  
• You will work closely with the Deputy Principals (Teaching & Learning, Pedagogy) to define and shape the curriculum and pedagogical practices across the whole school.  
• You will enhance the capability of staff to meet the needs of our diverse learners and implement quality teaching, assessment and moderation processes within the college. 
• The applicant should have experience in leading whole school pedagogy and curriculum.
