An exciting opportunity has become available for a high performing individual to join the Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Principal Advisor (Road Safety Systems). TMR is an organisation which offers professional development, a variety of interesting work state-wide, a safe, healthy and secure workplace and flexible work and lifestyle options.
As part of the Safety Technology Systems team, you will help shape the future of road safety technology in Queensland by delivering secure, compliant and reliable digital solutions that support the Camera Detected Offence Program and other road safety initiatives. Working with stakeholders, technical specialists and delivery partners, you will lead innovative technology solutions that improve road user safety and reduce harm on Queensland roads.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a high performing individual to join the Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Principal Advisor (Road Safety Systems). As Principal Advisor (Road Safety Systems), you will play a key role in shaping the future of road safety technology in Queensland by leading the delivery of secure, compliant and reliable digital solutions that support the Camera Detected Offence Program (CDOP) and other road safety initiatives. Working within the Safety Technology Systems team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical specialists, project teams and delivery partners to define product vision and priorities, translate business needs into actionable system requirements, and deliver innovative technology solutions. You will apply Agile and Lean practices, manage risk, support the modernisation of legacy platforms, and help ensure strategic initiatives are successfully transitioned into sustainable business-as-usual operations. This is an exciting opportunity to influence technology outcomes that improve road user safety and reduce harm on Queensland roads.

Mandatory requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role. Furthermore, a Queensland Police Service security check will be undertaken after appointment to the role.
