About Your New Role
As the Governance and Performance Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a high-quality governance and performance framework across Procurement and Contract Management. Providing strategic oversight, assurance and performance insights, you will drive consistency, transparency and continuous improvement across procurement and contract management practices.
Through strong leadership and stakeholder engagement, you will help build capability and maturity across the function while enabling teams to focus on delivering value.
Your Key Responsibilities
The role is responsible for governance, probity, reporting and systems enablement, supporting informed decision-making, risk management and organisational outcomes, including:
- Providing expert advice and leadership
- Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team
- Partnering with category managers and contract managers
- Driving governance, performance reporting and assurance activities across the function
- Identifying opportunities to streamline, standardise and improve governance
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Business, Commerce or Legal would be well regarded
- Experience in governance, performance or assurance functions with large organisations
- Experience in the public sector or health-based procurement environments would be highly regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $155,432 - $164,467 per annum
