About the role
Temporary full time opportunity delivering high quality and contemporary Speech Pathology clinical services to inpatients and outpatients of The Prince Charles Hospital. Rotations include Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation and Acute Stroke unit, Rehabilitation Day Therapy Unit (RDTU) and Geriatric Evaluation & Management unit.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver contemporary Speech Pathology clinical services in both acute and sub-acute hospital settings to patients with acquired communication and/or swallowing disorders in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Demonstrate well developed communication and problem-solving skills to work cooperatively and effectively with patients and their families, colleagues and other stakeholders to optimise clinical and service outcomes.
