We're excited to welcome a Physician Assistant to the Emergency Department, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Participate in treatment and healthcare services as agreed with your supervising SMO in the PA Practice Plan and in accordance with your determined level of competence and Scope of Practice.
• Deliver routine PA services in the emergency department in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
• Apply professional clinical judgement and problem-solving skills, as per the PA scope of practice, in delivering clinical services with either direct, or indirect and infrequent clinical practice supervision, as defined in your individual PA Practice Plan.
• Work cooperatively and effectively with the supervising medical officer and undertake delegated tasks as defined in the PA Practice Plan.
• Monitor and report to the supervising medical officer, at intervals determined by the supervisor and defined in the PA Practice Plan, on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area.

Remuneration value up to $152,772 p.a., comprising salary between $124,154 - $133,898 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (P04).
