About your opportunity
- Provide authoritative professional and expert advice and assistance to the Business Services Manager and Director of Nursing with respect to the service performance, affordable activity and resource management.
- Promote and review appropriate reporting systems, policies, procedures and systems to facilitate effective budgetary, activity and financial management.
- Manage the administration and operational services within Joyce Palmer Health Service.
- Participate actively in the Management Teams of the Joyce Palmer Health Service.
- Staffing and budget responsibilities - Administration and Operational Officers.
PLEASE NOTE - The successful applicant will be provided with free shared accommodation for the period of the contract.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Possession of advanced written, negotiation, consultative, interpersonal, and strategic management skills in an environment of organisational change, evolution and expansion.
- Proven ability to motivate and co-ordinate staff within an effective working team environment.
- Knowledge of computer information systems and ability to manage the systems for reporting requirements and provision of information for strategic planning.
- Application of knowledge and commitment to the principles of quality improvement and hospital accreditation to achieve Organisational goals.
- Accountability, efficiency and effectiveness that can be measured and inform ways to improve our service.
- Demonstrated respect and awareness for cultural diversity and consideration of the cultural needs of a community.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $4167.80 - $4534.70 p.f. (AO5)
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- Locality allowance
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
