About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide a high-level support to facilitate service delivery within all streams of the Information Access Unit and decision making as the delegated back-up decision maker under the Right To Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Assess and process applications under the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) and Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).
- Make legally sound decisions on access to information, applying legislative exemptions and public interest tests.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, policies, and procedures related to RTI and IP.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on RTI and IP matters.
