Your new role:
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Allied Health professional to support an innovative research project within Logan Hospital's Nutrition & Dietetics team. As the Senior Research Officer, you'll play a key role in coordinating research activities that will help co-design a healthy eating and exercise program for Pasifika and Māori adults living with chronic kidney disease, ensuring research findings translate into meaningful improvements in healthcare.
- Collaborate with researchers, clinicians and community stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Provide expert advice on research processes, governance and data management.
- Facilitate Talanoa discussions, workshops and community engagement activities.
- Contribute to research governance, reporting and dissemination activities.
- Support the co-design of a healthy eating and exercise program tailored to community needs.
- Apply evidence-based research methodologies and ethical research practices.
About you:
You're an experienced Allied Health professional with a passion for research and improving healthcare through evidence-based practice. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy engaging with diverse communities, and bring strong organisational and analytical skills to every project.
- A recognised Allied Health qualification with eligibility for professional registration or membership where applicable.
- Experience coordinating or supporting clinical research or quality improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of research governance, ethics and Good Clinical Practice principles.
- Experience working with people living with chronic kidney disease (highly regarded).

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
