You will be responsible for providing strategic, practical, high quality and responsive legal services to support the delivery of health care in hospital and community settings across the expansive Cairns and Hinterland region. About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Conduct a professional legal practice and undertake the range of legal work set out in the areas of law identified in the attached Schedule, which may include complex legal matters at a level suitable for the PO4 classification level.
- Follow policies, procedures and instructions relating to work health and safety that are relevant to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality and safe services in the workplace.
- Exercise sound judgment to ensure that competing work priorities are met within agreed timeframes and issues are escalated to supervisors when necessary.
