You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $481,935 (L27) comprising salary rates between $106.39 (L18) and $134.90 (L27) p.h., motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

As a Senior Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you'll play a vital role in improving health outcomes for women and families across the region. From delivering specialist care to supporting colleagues and strengthening services, you'll be part of a team committed to safe, high-quality care and continuous improvement.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering outstanding obstetric and gynaecology care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, patient-centred outcomes and seamless care.
- Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and education that strengthens capability across the service.
- Driving quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice to enhance patient experiences.

- Specialist registration and recognised qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, or equivalent eligible qualifications.
- Demonstrated capability delivering high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care.
- Strong communication, collaboration and clinical leadership skills.
- Commitment to education, research, patient safety and continuous improvement.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting rural services and/or a strong background in teaching and mentoring medical practitioners.
Most importantly, you'll be passionate about improving women's health and creating positive outcomes that strengthen communities.
