About the Role:

  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
  • Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
  • This role involves split shifts, working before and after the school day (mornings and afternoons).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic school environment through routine cleaning of classrooms, offices, amenities and outdoor areas.
  • Clean and maintain school facilities, equipment and flooring to a high standard.
  • Manage rubbish disposal, graffiti removal and general presentation of school grounds.
  • Assist with school security by locking and unlocking buildings and operating security systems.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report maintenance, safety and security issues to the Principal or Business Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
