You will be required to assist with the effective and efficient delivery of quality Whole of Government services to meet the needs of the community.
What you will be doing:
• Develop and maintain effective communication with staff at all levels within the department as well as Government agencies and Commonwealth Agencies.
• Ensure that the lead agency's obligations regarding service agreements are complied with and high standards of customer satisfaction are achieved.
• Ensure that all confidential matters and monies collected are treated with due regard for confidentiality and security, and all auditing requirements are complied with.
• Exercise the powers of a Justice of the Peace or have the capability of completing a Justice of the Peace course.
• Understand customer circumstances and assist customers to access services that enhance their tenancies and independent lifestyle.
• Undertaking property inspections and completing associated documentation.
• Communicating effectively and sensitively with people from different cultural backgrounds and developing an awareness and understanding of protocols and issues impacting on Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
Mandatory Requirement
• Class C Driver's Licence
