This is a key leadership role within the Financial Services Division, providing expert advice on investment strategy, taxation matters, financial governance and market performance. You will work closely with the Executive Director, Investment and Finance Services and Chief Financial Officer, executive stakeholders and the QPT Investment Board to optimise investment outcomes, drive innovation and ensure strong regulatory compliance across a complex and highly regulated environment.

This is a unique opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, lead multidisciplinary specialist teams and help shape the future direction of QPT's investment and financial service offerings. This is a permanent Senior Officer opportunity is based in Brisbane.

About you

You are a strategic and influential leader with extensive experience in investment, financial and taxation services, and a proven ability to provide trusted advice in complex and highly regulated environments. You build high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement and make sound decisions that deliver positive outcomes for clients and the organisation.

You'll succeed in this role if you bring:

  • Proven expertise in investment management, financial strategy and governance.
  • Strong leadership capability with a focus on developing high-performing teams and driving business improvement.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess market trends and inform decision-making.
  • The ability to provide authoritative advice on complex taxation, financial and regulatory matters.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience preparing executive-level briefings, reports and recommendations.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks relating to investments, securities and taxation.
