The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Work Health and Safety Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide expert advice and recommending solutions on injury prevention issues and systems
- Review or investigate accidents and incidents in facilities with staff, and facilitate the preparation of management reports on these issues
- Implement health and safety initiatives, strategies and programs at facilities to meet Departmental policy requirements
- Undertake auditing and inspections of relevant systems ascertaining compliance with legislation and approved policy/guidelines
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $108 735 - $118 307 per annum
