About the Role:

  • Liaise and provide support to students and families at the school/college and liaise with the wider community.
  • Promote the benefits of education to improve outcomes for students and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with students, families, community members, and key stakeholders.
  • Support student wellbeing, engagement, and regular school attendance.
  • Liaise with families, including conducting home visits where appropriate.
  • Identify and respond to educational, social, emotional, and behavioural concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student success and wellbeing.
  • Monitor student data to identify trends and coordinate appropriate interventions.
  • Act as a link between the school, families, and the community to promote open communication.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
  • Undertake other duties as directed to support the school's student wellbeing program.
